Accounting Activity Kits

What are Accounting Kits
Accounting Kits are hands on activities designed for student to practice the basics of bookkeeping with tactile elements instead of just worksheets or paper/pencil. Each kit contains instructions, activities, hints, and takeaway worksheets.

Currently the following kits are available
  1. Account Types: A card sorting activity dividing common accounts into Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Revenue, Expenses, and Dividends
  2. Financial Statements: A card sorting activity dividing common accounts by which financial statement they will appear on
  3. Debits and Credits: A mastery of how t-accounts work by demonstrating the side that is debits or credit and the side that is increase or decrease
  4. Increase or Decrease: For 16 transactions, students will indicate how the six account types are affected (increased, decreased, or no effect)
